这一周，我们Kings上海国王国际高中的每周之星是11A的徐馨同学，以下是徐馨同学的介绍。This week, our King's weekly star is 11A's classmate Anne, and here is her introduction.

徐馨 ANN

Anne has a passion for music and is fascinated by singing. Last year, our school band "Six Plan" was founded and she became one of the members by being a keyboard player. By the end of the second year, she continued her career as asinger in the same band.

徐馨同学喜欢唱歌，热爱音乐。去年，我校乐队Six Plan成立，她作为一名键盘手，成为了乐队的初始成员之一。到了如今的第二年，她继续在乐队中担任歌手的职位。

Since she loves singing so much, she dared to take part in various singingcompetitions, not only the singing contests held by the Kings, but also avariety of contests outside the school. As she would say "No matter if youwin or lose, you just need to feel the happiness."

因为喜欢唱歌，所以她敢于去参加各种歌唱比赛，不仅有我们Kings自己举办的，还有校外的各种比赛，用她的话来说，“不论输赢，我就只是图个开心。”

In July this year, "The First Lishui new voice", an essential part of International Art Festival lighting project, was successfully held in her hometown, Lishui. Anne got remarkable points in the first part of the contest but unfortunately she did not succeed in the final round.

溧水新歌声，是首届南京溧水国际灯光艺术节项目中最重要的专场活动，热爱音乐的徐馨也积极的参加了这次比赛。她走过了整个比赛的四分之三，遗憾的是，剩下的四分之一她没有走完。

Thanks to her attendance to the Nanjing Foreign Language School during July this year,she developed the passion for Model United Nations. That is why in December2017, she will attend the Qibao Dwight high school.

自打今年7月去南外参会以后，她开始喜欢上了模拟联合国，以及在接下来的12月，她即将去七宝德怀特中学参会。

As she would say, "modeling" allows us to recognize and think about a lot of things that have never been thought before. It is a game, where the happiest one is the one who dares to try; it is a battle where the only one who survives is the one who came ahead of other people; it is a kind of experience where the one who is filled with a thousand regrets is usually the one who devotes themselves whole heartedly."

用她的话来说：“模联它让我们认识、思考了许多之前没有想过的事情。它是一个游戏，玩得最开心的往往是那些敢于尝试的人;它是一场战役，能够活下来的人往往是那些冲在最前面的人;它是一种经历，感慨很多的人往往是那些全身心投入的人。”

Anne also took part in the Kings summer camp this year, and she chose to study in the UK. Kings has three campuses in the UK, Oxford ,Bournemouth and London.

徐馨同学还在今年暑假参加了Kings的夏令营，她选择了到英国去学习。Kings在英国有三个校区，分别是伦敦，牛津和伯恩茅斯。

Anne's personal choice is the Bournemouth campus, because the dormitory is really nearto the classroom… She also made many foreign friends in the UK, including an Argentina's handsome little brother, and a Germany's beautiful sister. They say that she and little sister are still in contact with each other to practicetheir English.

徐馨个人最喜欢的是伯恩茅斯校区，因为住宿的宿舍距离教室很近……这次在英国她还认识了许多外国友人，其中有阿根廷的帅气小哥哥、还有德国的漂亮妹子。据说后者至今都还在，各自锻炼英文。

After the Spring Festival 2017, she participated in the children's project "MiaoMiao reading”, a public welfare project initiated by Shanghai’s development center. The aim of this project is to promote children's interest in reading.

2017年春节后，她参加了由上海多阅公益文化发展中心发起的「苗苗阅读」公益项目。此项目的目的是提升儿童对阅读的兴趣。

Her pen friend is a little girl named "Swallow". She lives in the beautiful city—Yunnan Dali. They communicate monthly, recommend books they like to each other, and share their own experiences.

她的笔友是一名叫“燕子”的小女孩，她生活在美丽的云南大理。她们每月通信一次，互相推荐自己比较喜欢的书，并分享自己读书后的心得体会。

Since "Swallow" lives in a small town and has never visited Shanghai or any other big city, she was very looking forward to coming here. Anne sometimes talks to her about her life experiences.

因为“燕子”自小生活在小镇 ，从来没有来过上海和其他的大城市，所以她非常向往城市里的生活。徐馨有时还会跟她交流各自的人生经历。

As one of Kings' graduating students, Anne hopes to continue her studies at Bournemouth during her third year. Also let's wish Anne getting best marks in IELTS exam and A-Level tests next year, so she can enter her ideal university.

作为Kings即将毕业的学生之一，徐馨在第三年希望去英国伯恩茅斯继续深造。也让我们祝愿徐馨在明年能考好雅思，考好A-Level，进入她理想的大学。
