在这里学什么？The department of Earth and Environmental Sciences offers programs leading to the MS in Earth Sciences, Environmental and Coastal Sciences.
Subdisciplines
Specific graduate topics for research supported by the department are diverse and include Aquatic Ecology, Geomorphology, Coastal Oceanography, Coastal Processes, Coastal and Marine Geology, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, and Paleontology.
The minimum requirement for the degree of Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Earth and Environmental Sciences is 24 credit hours of course work and 6 hours of thesis research credit for a total of 30 credit hours (see above). Nine of the 24 hours of coursework must be earned in courses numbered above 6000. Credit is not given for M.Sc. students in EES 4005, 4006, 6005, and 6006. Each graduate student is expected to participate in EES 6090 in their first semester of enrollment, or the first time the course is offered.

Applicants enrolled in the final year of a bachelor's degree or international equivalent will be considered for conditional admission. Minimum GPA Requirements: 2.5 grade point average (GPA) on a 4-point scale for all undergraduate coursework, 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4-point scale for all graduate coursework. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Internet-based test score of 79 total or Computer-based test score of 550; The International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall band score of 6.5; PTE (Pearson Tests of English) Academic score of 58; IELP Intensive English Language Program: Satisfactory completion of the Intensive English Language Program at UNO; Minimum Scores on IELP Test: Listening Comprehension: 70; Grammar/Reading/Vocabulary: 63; Writing/Composition: 75.课程信息
