专业概况

The BS degree is accredited by the American Chemical Society through their Committee on Professional Training (CPT). This degree is appropriate for students planning a career in chemistry, including those contemplating graduate school. It requires 400 hours of laboratory training above the 100 level, and courses taught by faculty who specialize in each of the five core disciplines: organic, inorganic, physical, analytical and biochemistry.

Oral Communication Requirement:

To satisfy the oral communication requirement for the B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry a student must successfully complete CHM 495.

Applied Learning Requirement:

To satisfy the applied learning requirement for the B.A. and B.S. degree in Chemistry a student must successfully complete at least one hour of CHM 491, CHM 495, CHM 498, or CHM 499.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - minimum score of 6.0 on the academic module. Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 54, Pearson PTE - minimum score 54.
