Learn about cyber physical systems through topics such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, interactive systems and ethical design.

Overview

Cyber physical systems integrate computation with physical objects and processes. Examples of cyber physical systems are:

• 'smart' devices in the home such as a smart meter or fridge
• voice assistant devices
• driverless vehicles
• medical monitoring equipment
• wearable devices
• robotic assistants

Our course is designed for students with a background in computer science or a related field with analytical skills. You'll learn the principles of integrated system design and computational and cyber physical systems methods and tools.

The key topics covered will include:

• interactive systems

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
