专业概况

在这里学什么？ This integrated masters course advances your skills in research. You'll study how to write research proposals and how to communicate your research to a wider audience. You'll develop your project management skills and your grasp of analytical techniques. All of these are essential if you decide you'd like a biotech research career.Experts in synthetic biology will lecture on the latest applications and technology. You'll join thought-provoking debates covering ethical, commercial and environmental concerns. You'll learn the latest biotechnology techniques and how these can be used to help improve lives. You might be interested in how you can apply science to global issues such as:- healthcare - example- environmental- food securityAccredited by the Royal Society of Biology, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to succeed when you graduate.You will learn in specialist laboratories, using our facilities to build your practical knowledge. Our lab sessions will give you experience in DNA sequencing and genetic engineering.Throughout your degree you can choose from a range of additional options. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
