Overview

The Financing pathway in the MSc Entrepreneurship programme has a more operational perspective. Our academic staff use a variety of teaching methods including lectures and seminars, case studies, entrepreneurship and business scenarios. You will also be taught by distinguished visiting speakers and entrepreneurs.

The Entrepreneurship Project is a live case study, where you undertake a consultancy intervention with local firms. You will also work with leading academics and industry experts in the Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship and the ICMA Centre.

How we assess you

You will learn and be assessed through a wide variety of teaching methods depending on your chosen postgraduate course. These include online materials, guest lectures, group assignments, case studies, field visits, dealing room simulations, presentations, applied projects, consultancy work and examinations.

On average examinations of core modules form between 15 - 50% of the assessed work. The remaining comes from coursework, including a written dissertation or project depending on your chosen programme.

Continuing your career

This Master’s degree will help you to pursue entrepreneurial careers, whether through your own start-up or through leadership roles in entrepreneurial firms. You will be equipped to work internationally in a general or trainee management role. This degree can help enhance your career prospects in any sector for organisations ranging from small and medium sized enterprises to multinational firms.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have 4-year Bachelors degree with weighted average of 70-85%; subject to applicants' graduation universities rankings and the University of Reading programmes' 2:1 or high 2:2 requirements.
