Gain a detailed understanding of teaching and learning for all pupils, explore different educational providers, and examine current research and legislation on our flexible MA Education (Inclusive Education).

This pathway is designed to be flexible in order to meet the needs of busy professionals, and to reflect your own interests. At the Institute of Education, we recognise the uniqueness of every student and we address our teaching to suit your individual needs. This master's course is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis.

You will reflect on, and examine, individual difference, and explore ways to meet that difference through appropriate educational provision. Up-to-date research and current legislation will deepen your theoretical and practical knowledge of different types of disabilities and the ways to meet the needs of these groups of pupils.

This course provides an excellent foundation to doctoral studies in education, or as a stepping stone to our successful part-time Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD).

Your tutors are internationally or nationally renowned experts, and their research regularly has a direct impact on school curricula and learning techniques - both in the UK and abroad. As experts in their field, their research also directly informs the focus and content of your course, and you will benefit from the breadth of their expertise and backgrounds in educating and influencing policy.

This MA Education (Inclusive Education) has provided students with an excellent foundation to doctoral studies in education, or our successful part-time Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD).
