UNO cooperates with the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Nursing by offering the general education courses required for the traditional baccalaureate degree program, which is designed to educate the professional nurse. Admission to the LSUHSC School of Nursing is on a competitive basis. Students who successfully complete all requirements will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing awarded by the LSUHSC School of Nursing. Additional information about the pre-nursing curriculum may be obtained in the office of the College of Sciences.
