Postgraduate doctoral degrees are available in a wide range of areas within the Division of Psychiatry and Applied Psychology.

Research overview

Our research strengths include child and adolescent mental health, translational neuroimaging, old age psychiatry, forensic mental health, personality disorder, epidemiology of psychosis and mood disorders.

Training

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Graduate Centre is based in the Medical School. Staff in the centre provide subject-specific support to postgraduate students and researchers: ranging from access to private study areas and professional advice, to hosting careers seminars and social activities.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
