在这里学什么？ In 2003, research undertaken within the School by Professor Sir Peter Mansfield was recognised with a Nobel Prize for the invention of Magnetic Resonance Imaging body scanners. This technology has already helped more than half a billion people worldwide. More recently, our use of quantum technologies to understand how the brain works is changing the way that neurological conditions are detected and treated.This accredited degree with integrated masters will give you real practical experience of medical physics at the Queens Medical Centre hospital. Tailored modules such as Functional Medical Imaging and Molecular Biophysics will help you develop a specialist understanding of this vital area. In the fourth year you will focus on more specialised areas and complete a year-long research project. Under the guidance of our expert staff, you will benefit from a range of learning styles. These include group work, delivering seminars, projects and independent learning.Our teaching has been given the highest rating of 'Gold' (Teaching Excellence Framework 2017). 为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
