专业概况

在这里学什么？ How will the West adapt to the growth of Asia’s economic and political influence on global affairs? How might this shift in power affect the world order? How will relationships between Asia and the West evolve?BA International Relations and Asian Studies will give you insights into the latest international relations developments between Asia and the rest of the world. You will study key themes such as the evolution of the Asian continent, and the complex challenges of global politics. Teaching is underpinned by the work of our Asia Research Institute which addresses the major political, social and economic challenges of the region.You’ll be fully immersed in the culture of the region when you spend your second year studying at either our China or Malaysia campus. Through a range of optional modules you can specialise in areas such as environmental governance, security, the media, immigration and citizenship. You could also study Mandarin if you go to China.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
