专业概况
在这里学什么? History of Art and English both deal with common issues. How do we feel? What's happening in society? What is our place in that society?By combining these two subjects into one degree you'll get a rich understanding and appreciation of language - visual, written and spoken.You'll study English language, literature and drama from Old English to the present day. We have one of the most diverse range of modules of any UK university. This allows you to follow your existing passions while exploring new topics.You will also explore visual cultures across periods, media and societies. All the time you'll be questioning. Why that method? Why that subject? How did people react then? What does it mean now?Although studied separately you'll be able to explore links between History of Art and English in some projects.During your three years you'll be exposed to an incredible breadth of art - fiction, poetry, drama, painting, sculpture, architecture, graphics, photography, film and more.We have close links with Nottingham's dynamic arts scene - including the award winning Nottingham Contemporary and the artist-led Primary. You can also gain practical skills through our curatorial group, Crop Up Gallery. Nottingham is a UNESCO City of Literature, providing a wide range of opportunities to become involved in the writers and performance scene.所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.课程信息
