在这里学什么？ On this fascinating degree, you will deepen your knowledge of how societies develop and learn how the past influences the present. In American studies, you will explore debates about religion, race, class, capitalism, gender, sexuality and war in different periods. In history, as well as American studies, you will be able to choose optional modules from an extensive array, covering an extremely wide chronological and geographical range. These options will allow you to focus on certain periods, events, or texts in more depth. Topics include:- The Crusades- 19th-century Japan- The Cold War- Civil Rights- US Foreign Policy- Crime and punishmentYou will also study American and Canadian film, music, art, politics, literature and culture.You can also experience North America by choosing to study abroad for a year at a US or Canadian university.

中国学生入学要求

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
