Get a career in protecting and managing digital businesses.

As businesses increase their digital presence, they increase the risk of being affected by cybercrime. Cybersecurity is no longer just a technology issue, it's a business issue. La Trobe's Bachelor of Cybersecurity/Bachelor of Commerce lets you combine cyber and analytical skills with strategic communication skills to help you manage the digital aspects of today's business world. You'll learn how to manage and protect online information, the laws and policies of cyberspace, then compliment this knowledge with a major in accounting, economics, finance, management or marketing.

You'll learn:

Cybersecurity and IT fundamentals

Discover the technologies used to identify and moderate threats including firewalls, intrusion protection systems and honeypots.

Business, management and commerce

Learn the fundamentals of business and specialise in accounting, commerce, finance, management or marketing.

Cyber law and policy

Examine the laws and policies that regulate Cyberspace in increasingly online world and how they might apply in varying business contexts.

Business data analysis

Develop statistical literacy skills and learn how to apply them to critical business problems and major social issues.

The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 7.

Cybersecurity analyst

Protect businesses IT networks from breaches by creating and monitoring firewalls and encryption programs.

IT security architect

Develop, build and execute network and computer security systems for digitized businesses.

Risk and compliance manager

Key advisory and governance role leading the day-to-day audit and risk functions of an organisation.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants require completion of equivalent to an Australian Year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0; TOEFL Paper-based Test - Overall score of 550 with 5 or better in TWE (Test of Written English); TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing, Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE): Overall score of 50 with no communicative skill score less than 50, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): 169 with no less than 169 in any component, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 169 with no less than 169 in any component.
