专业概况

在这里学什么？ Electronic products and services shape todays lifestyle, from the latest smartphone to the industry supply chain behind it. These are made possible by electronic engineers. Electronic Engineers are the people using their knowledge to improve our quality of life through better, safer, faster, and cheaper products. In our lecture rooms and labs, you will learn the knowledge and skills to let you prepare to work as a professional engineer in electronic systems design. This course is a three-year honours degree and well suited to those who wish to pursue their interest in electronics and electronic systems at degree level. You will gain extensive experience to ensure that you develop sound practical skills as well as a thorough theoretical knowledge.During the first year you will receive intensive preparation in maths and science for electronics. We teach an in-depth grounding in all the latest techniques in analogue and digital electronics, together with training in professional skills, project management techniques in the second year. In your final year, you can choose a specific subject, such as nanophotonics, signal processing, laser technologies, as an individual project. This electronic engineering course offers flexible career paths in many well-paid professional fields.
