在这里学什么? Electronic products and services shape todays lifestyle, from the latest smartphone to the industry supply chain behind it. These are made possible by electronic engineers. Electronic Engineers are the people using their knowledge to improve our quality of life through better, safer, faster, and cheaper products. In our lecture rooms and labs you will learn the knowledge and skills to prepare to work as a professional engineer at the forefront of the high-tech industry in both technical and managerial roles.During this degree you will gain extensive practical experience to ensure that you develop sound practical skills as well as a thorough theoretical knowledge. The course will introduce you the foundational engineering modules in the first year and then you will progress to advanced electronics and gain a deep knowledge of electronic systems in the second year. In your final year, you can choose a specific subject, such as nanophotonics, signal processing, laser technologies, as an individual project to study. This electronic engineering course offers flexible career paths in many well paid professional fields. Our graduates have gone to work for high-profile employers like Jaguar Land Rover, MBDA missile systems, Her Majesty's Government Communications Centre (HMGCC), Qioptiq, Transport for London, etc. This degree has been accredited by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) under licence from the UK regulator, the Engineering Council. Accreditation is a mark of assurance that the degree meets the standards set by the Engineering Council UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC). An accredited degree will provide you with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills for eventual registration as an Incorporated (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).
