The Department of Electrical Engineering offers the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with concentrations in Electrical Engineering (EE) and Computer Engineering (CpE).

Degree Requirements

The degree requirements for electrical engineering (electrical engineering and computer engineering paths) is an overview of courses required to complete the degree program.

Concentrations

The department offers two concentrations in electrical engineering and computer engineering. Both concentrations require a total of 122 credit hours.

Electrical Engineering Concentration (EE)

If your interests lean more towards robotics, power systems, communications, and audio technologies, then the department offers a concentration in electrical engineering.

The EE concentration requirements include 16 credit hours of EE electives. Any ENEE course at the 3000 or 4000 level which is not an already required ENEE course is an acceptable elective. This provides EE students the flexibility to either acquire a broad knowledge in different EE topics, or to focus on a particular area such as Communications or Power Systems by taking electives associated with those areas.
