The Department of Electrical Engineering offers the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with concentrations in Electrical Engineering (EE) and Computer Engineering (CpE).

Degree Requirements

The degree requirements for electrical engineering (electrical engineering and computer engineering paths) is an overview of courses required to complete the degree program.

Concentrations

The department offers two concentrations in electrical engineering and computer engineering. Both concentrations require a total of 122 credit hours.

Computer Engineering Concentration (CpE)

A concentration in computer engineering immerses in the design of computers and computer system components, programming of microcontrollers, and advanced applications.

The CpE concentration requirements include 12 credit hours of electives. Any ENEE course at the 3000 or 4000 level which is not an already required course is an acceptable elective. Three of the 12 credit hours may be an approved Computer Science elective.
