在国王学院伦敦学习好处之一就是社交活动参与。必须承认作为国际学生，在认识新朋友上是有限制的，但是在国王学院你不必有此担忧，因为大家都来自不同国家，学校也不断为学生创造各种互动机会，让学生带乐趣地学习!

同学们可以参加"dramaclub",这是个新的社团，但是可以认识很多朋友，练习英语，重要的是能给你带来很多欢乐。如果你非常害羞，也许这个社团就不太适合啦。但是没有关系，你可以参加各种讲座，一般一周两次，从英国特色，英国音乐到英语语言，讲座主题丰富多样。讲座不是正式的课程，是非常轻松的，你可以获得很多额外的知识。

国王学院提供多样性的活动，上周我就和另外30位国王学院的同学去听了在伦敦中心Lyceum剧院的“狮子王”音乐剧。真是太棒了，也勾起了很多儿时对迪斯尼动画的回忆。当时就被音乐剧的舞蹈，音乐，演员，服装及舞台的设计深深吸引。

国王学院伦敦的老师们一直努力地为学生创造各种活动机会，让不同课程的学生可以互相认识，增进了解，更好地适应新的学习环境，更重要的是Learning while having fun @ Kings!

Dreaming in English: Social Life in London

It’s great to know that Kings London staffare constantly thinking of opportunities for you to spend time with otherstudents and to help to discover the new environment that will be for a fewweeks or even a year, your new comfort zone.

One of the amazing things about studying atKings London is the social life. As an international student abroad, I have toadmit that sometimes the opportunities to make friends are limited, but not atKings!! Here we all are in the same boat and, knowing this, the staff at Kingstakes a lot of time to create those opportunities that I was talking about. Butof course they never forget to help us improve our English at the same time,and what’s better than learning? Well, in my opinion it’s learning while havingfun!

One way to do that is to join the dramaclub. OK, it’s quite new but it doesn’t change the fact that you can meet otherstudents, practice your English, and have fun. But I guess that if you are shyit may not be your cup of tea.

In that case, why not take part in one ofthe lectures given by a teacher? These take place twice a week and deal with awhole range of topics; from the subjunctive tense to British icons and Britishmusic from different eras or the story of the English language. I know that theword ‘lectures’ sounds a little bit more academic, but actually they are quiteinformal, very interesting and it won’t hurt your general knowledge of Britishculture!

But Kings also offers lots of otherpossibilities, one of which I personally took part in last Thursday, when I wasone of 30 Kings students who attended the musical ‘The Lion King’ in centralLondon at the Lyceum Theatre. It was an incredible experience that brought backchildhood memories filled with Disney cartoons. I was also mesmerized by thedances, the songs, the actors, the costumes, and the stage-sets – fantastic!
