Overview

On this taught programme, which is available full- or part-time, you’ll develop advanced environmental planning and management skills.

?You’ll also gain an understanding of the environmental implications of development action and of the wider social, political and economic issues surrounding decisions about the environment.

This course is accredited by IEMA. IEMA is the professional body for everyone working in environment and sustainability. This course entitles students to FREE student membership for the duration of the course and on successful completion you qualify for GradIEMA. Graduate membership is a launchpad for future leaders within environment and sustainability and offers a range of benefits to support you throughout your career.

Career prospects

There are significant career opportunities in the field of planning, urban regeneration and environmental management working for local authorities, the private and voluntary sectors.

Within the planning sphere graduates can become involved in a variety of different positions concerned with helping to improve the quality of our towns and cities.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
