专业概况

在这里学什么？ Are you looking for a career in the creative and cultural industries? Would you like to know more about American and Canadian history, literature and culture? On this course you will look at film and television as art forms and industries, locating them within specific historical and social contexts. You will also study North American literature, history, politics, art and music, situating the US, Canada and ethnic and regional American cultures in transnational and global perspectives.You will benefit from the skills development and assessment methods of studying two subjects. In addition you will have access to competitive internships in the US and UK creative industries, with Fox Studios and the Art Directors Guild in Los Angeles, Red Bee Creative in London and others.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
