Aberystwyth's MA in Practical Creative Media will provide you with an excellent opportunity to explore a wide range of approaches in creative media, including performance, theater, film and new media. In this way you will explore how ways of working in the media create culture, and how culture creates ways of working in the media. This course challenges you to reflect on the sources of your inspiration, while also practicing and improving your craft skills.

This course is eligible for applications to the Access to Master (MiF / ATM) scheme and offered in partnership companies in the creative industries in Wales. In the past, students have collaborated on projects with production companies Boom and Telesgop, Arad Goch, Frân Wen and History in Character theaters, and cultural companies such as Galeri Caernarfon and Cadwgan Trust. They include home / EU tuition fees, a grant of £5,695 * for living costs and a contribution towards travel expenses. Applicants may make more than one application.

After graduating with an MA in Practical Creative Media, you will have demonstrated the production ability, academic discipline and cultural awareness necessary to apply what you have learned to the context of media production in the real world .
