专业概况
在这里学什么？Sustainability is a global priority. There is a need to understand more about the human impact on the environment and the environmental laws and regulations being put in place to help achieve an environmentally sound future for all.
Our accredited course equips you with a comprehensive understanding of methods for assessing and managing the environmental impacts of policies, plans, programmes, projects and organisations. You will also gain an overview of the legal and institutional frameworks in which they operate relating to the UK, Europe and the international community.
Learning with a course team active in research and consultancy you will explore and evaluate environmental sustainability and the practical application of environmental assessment and management at both local and policy level. You’ll learn to identify and analyse current and future problems and apply processes to real-world situations.
AccreditationThis degree is accredited by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM). This means that our curriculum and facilities have been evaluated rigorously against CIWEM standards. The degree is also accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). RICS accreditation demonstrates a globally-recognised standard of surveying education.
Graduate destinationsCareer opportunities in both the public and private sectors include transport planning, waste management, environmental consultancy, resource management and town and country planning. You can exit with PGDip & PGCert awards.
