专业概况

在这里学什么？ Created in collaboration with industry experts, our accredited course blends theory and real-world practice, developing your analytical skills and the capacity to apply your knowledge to problems in a wide range of business contexts.You will build your problem-solving abilities using logic and creativity, working with sophisticated mathematical and statistical software such as Maple, MATLAB, SPSS, Lindo, R and SAS.Supported by your lecturers and fellow students you will learn independently and in small groups in a close-knit working environment. You will develop your understanding of technical maths and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear way to non-specialists. And you will apply mathematical techniques to real-world scenarios and data sets and can choose to put learning into practice on placement or in a school classroom. We also offer Mathematics MMath or Mathematics for Data Science MMath. These are integrated masters courses which give you an extra year of study at postgraduate level.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students require a National College Entrance Examination (NCEE / Gaokao) with a minimum score of 75% overall and 75% in any required subjects. Please note, courses with higher entry requirements may ask for a minimum score of 80% overall.Students taking the Huikao (Senior Secondary School Certificate) will need to take and successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Minimum English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (min 5.5 in all components).
