专业概况

在这里学什么？ With an extra year of integrated study at foundation level, this course opens up opportunities in engineering if you do not hold the required scientific A-levels or equivalent qualifications, are changing career, or returning to study.The foundation year gives you the support, knowledge and skills you need. On successful completion of the foundation year, you can progress directly to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng(Hons).Our accredited course will prepare you for a career as a skilled electrical engineer. We work with industry experts and our accrediting bodies to ensure that you develop the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace.You’ll explore the theory, design and application of electronic systems, studying topics including analogue electronics and communications, digital system design, product innovation and management, and high voltage power, distribution and utilisation.Working with other engineering specialists on challenging and rewarding projects, and the chance to join the Brighton Formula Student team, gives you experience that mirrors industry. Placements and guest lectures from industry provide professional insight and networking opportunities.

中国学生入学要求

为来自中国的学生设计 Students require a National College Entrance Examination (NCEE / Gaokao) with a minimum score of 75% overall and 75% in any required subjects. Please note, courses with higher entry requirements may ask for a minimum score of 80% overall.Students taking the Huikao (Senior Secondary School Certificate) will need to take and successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Minimum English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (min 5.5 in all components).
