专业概况

在这里学什么？ Our Biological Sciences BSc(Hons) covers everything from microbiology, human and animal physiology and biochemistry to ecology, genetics, and molecular biology. You will explore how biology can be used to understand and change the world we live in.Develop your practical skills in our specialist labs and in the field with optional trips (current destinations include Portugal and South Africa). Apply your learning by exploring biological systems at molecular, cell, tissue and whole organism levels.Build your scientific research skills by learning with researchers who are internationally recognised in areas including zoonotic disease, human physiology, diabetes, genomics, disease processes, and ecology and conservation. And shape your studies by choosing option modules and taking the optional placement year.This course offers a guaranteed interview scheme with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) for students wishing to pursue a degree in medicine. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students require a National College Entrance Examination (NCEE / Gaokao) with a minimum score of 75% overall and 75% in any required subjects. Please note, courses with higher entry requirements may ask for a minimum score of 80% overall.Students taking the Huikao (Senior Secondary School Certificate) will need to take and successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Minimum English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (min 5.5 in all components).
