专业概况

在这里学什么？

The modern paramedic has tremendous responsibilities for emergency care, both on-site and en route. This degree prepares paramedics with the additional knowledge and competence to work within the broader health care system and participate as effective members of inter-professional health care teams. Designed for flexibility, this plan accepts significant transfer credit and allows practicing paramedics the ability to earn their degree while continuing to work.

Careers

Our program can provide a convenient, flexible way for students and working professionals to complete their bachelor’s degree. The program will give you an avenue to success, preparing you for employment in hospitals, schools, government health agencies, private industry, and nongovernmental organizations.

Note: To be eligible for this academic plan, students must be admitted to, enrolled in, or be graduates from an associate degree program at a regionally accredited community college or university in an allied health discipline.

Career opportunities that might be pursued: Community colleges; County health departments; Hospitals; Indian Health Service.

With further education, one of these paths is possible: Community college allied health instructor; Community health educator; Physician; Athletic trainer.
