The Principal Preparation Program is a comprehensive internship-based leadership program leading to a Master of Arts degree in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership as well as potential Wyoming certification as a K-12 principal. To be certified by PTSB as a principal in Wyoming, you must hold or be able to obtain a Wyoming teaching certificate and have at least three years of teaching in a school setting. To be admitted to the program, applicants must have at least 2 years of teaching experience.

This outreach master's degree program is 33 credit hours. Focusing on our mission to develop effective educational leaders and researchers, the program offers a flexible online delivery. All courses in the program are offered online. Also, through Fall 2017, the four core courses are delivered in Casper, face-to-face. However, beginning Spring 2018, only online delivery will be offered. Please see the course schedule. Please note, out of state students should check with their state PTSB to ensure the program meets eligibility requirements for principal certification in their own state.

为来自中国的学生设计 A bachelor's degree from an accredited or recognized school is required. A cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 on previous coursework is required for full admission (3.25 for interdisciplinary program applicants). Proof of English Proficiency: A minimum score of 540 on the written exam, or 76 on the Internet-based test; IELTS: A minimum score of 6.0 is required for admission.
