The BA Theatre program offers a broad based immersion into the study and practice of theatre. In addition to a core of required theatre courses, taught by experienced, highly qualified faculty, BA students are able to focus on one area of theatre through a choice of several elective classes. Students may audition for roles in Department productions, receive training and hands on experience in stage management, dramaturgy, directing, theatre education and playwriting. The FIU Theatre Department is a member of KCACTF (the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival) and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre.
