专业概况

在这里学什么？

This program is designed to prepare students to be well-rounded professionals who are ready to organize and direct recreational programming in a variety of settings. The program consists of courses in general education, education, exercise science, health science, and health, kinesiology, and recreation.

Special Services and Opportunities

Included in the program are opportunities for students to participate in internships where they will gain on-site training in recreational settings, such as the Boys and Girls Club, state parks, collegiate intramural programs, intercollegiate athletics, and youth services. Students receive hands-on experience organizing and leading programs for various ages through collaboration with area schools and organizations. The HKR department sponsors an excellent intramural program and operates the Aquatic Center, which is available to students, faculty, staff, and community members.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university. A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL, A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL, A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL, A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
