专业概况

在这里学什么？

The mission of the professional education unit is to prepare candidates who attain educational achievement through collaboration and reflection. To that end the professional education unit (including content departments), collaborates with K-12 schools, Educational Service Cooperatives, Educational Renewal Zones and other local, state, and national organizations to inculcate high standards of educational achievement for all students. The Unit engages pre-service and in-service teachers, administrators, counselors and other educators to excel in teaching, leadership, scholarship and service.

Learning Goals

Our foreign language graduates can communicate effectively. Our foreign language graduates understand diversity reflected in literature of their target language. Our foreign language graduates can analyze and evaluate competing arguments and interpretations. Our graduates can conduct research to access and synthesize information. Our foreign language graduates will demonstrate knowledge of literature, culture and civilization, and/or linguistics in the target languages.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university. A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL, A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL, A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL, A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
