The MSSCM-to-MBA program from Wichita State’s AACSB-accredited Barton School of Business gives students holding a Master of Science (MS) in Management Science and Supply Chain Management a way to also complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in a reasonable timeframe, leading to increased knowledge and skills in business and management and more career options.

Curriculum

Students completing the MSSCM to MBA may count four of their MSSCM courses (12 credit hours) toward their MBA degree. This allows students to complete both programs within a reasonable timeframe. One program must be completed before any courses can be applied to the other program. The 12 credit hours will be completed by the student as a requirement for the MS-MSSCM or MBA program. The main objective of making this change is to provide the opportunity to students to pursue dual degrees (MS-MSSCM and MBA) and structure the curriculum so that both programs can be completed within a reasonable time frame. One program must be completed before any courses can be applied to the other program.

WSU's MBA is a traditional, management-based program offering coursework in accounting, business law, economics, management, finance and marketing. A thesis is not required.

Most MBA classes are eight-week hybrids, where you attend class once a week and also complete work online.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants for full-standing degree admission to the specialist and master’s programs typically must have: Earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or a recognized institution in another country whose requirements for the bachelor’s degree are substantially equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. The minimum acceptable scores for most programs are: TOEFL - 79 on the Internet-based test, or 550 on the paper-based test. IELTS - minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required. PTE Academic - 58.
