专业概况

A Bachelor of Science in engineering technology (BSET) from Wichita State will give you knowledge and practical skills in engineering and technology fundamentals, engineering principles, instrumentation, mathematics, science, and applied design. You’ll have access to top-notch labs and technology plus, applied learning and research opportunities on and off campus.

Curriculum

The BSET - engineering technology management concentration will prepare you for high-paying management positions in technology-based environments. You’ll learn to manage people and resources, set budgets, build teams, and more. In addition to making you workforce ready, you’ll also be well equipped to pursue an advanced engineering degree.

The program is offered in a traditional format and a hybrid online format.

Applied Learning

Students in engineering technology programs are required to complete an applied learning or research experience to graduate from the programs. The requirement can be met by completing the four-course capstone design experience consisting of ENGT 201, ENGT 301, ENGT 401 and ENGT 402.
