在这里学什么?The Bachelor of Science in Technical Management focuses on developing current or future managers and is designed for professionals who are assuming management responsibilities within their organizations or wish to be promoted into management. The Technical Management program explores planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing, and controlling using data to drive decisions. Skill sets obtained during the completion of this degree program will enable students to manage at a high level in today’s a high-tech, global, and diverse business world.
The Bachelor of Science in Technical Management is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), courses within the program are accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, and security courses are accredited by the National Security Agency (NSA).
About Technical Management at the Worldwide & Online Campus
Professionals in today’s constantly changing global business world must be diverse and able to have distinct abilities and specializations enabling them to showcase their unique talents which set them apart from others. With this in mind, Embry-Riddle offers multiple majors in areas relevant to managers in technical and non-technical career fields.
The Bachelor of Science in Technical Management degree program consists of a total of 120 credit hours to complete which include 36 credit hours of general education, 33 credit hours of common business core classes, 21 credit hours in a major area of study, and a combined 30 credit hours of electives, COB minors, and or transfer credits.
Well-qualified students planning to seek a master's degree can also save time and money by enrolling in a 4+1 program. Those in the 4+1 program begin work toward a Master of Science in Management, Management Information Systems, or Information Security & Assurance while still working on a bachelor’s, reducing master's requirements by three courses and allowing for both degrees to be earned in just five years.
The Technical Management degree is designed to prepare students for a variety of managerial/supervisory positions in today’s business environment. The program will teach students how to think critically, and to employ applied research and problem-solving skills to evaluate, manage, and improve business processes.
