专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Marine Biology program is a unique baccalaureate degree in the university system. It includes a strong foundation of biology with an emphasis in marine biology at the junior and senior levels. Full use is made of the natural laboratory provided by the adjacent Atlantic Ocean through extensive field work in many marine biology and biology courses. The curriculum is flexible enough to meet the individual needs of the student enabling preparation for graduate studies or for teaching, research and consulting careers available to one with the baccalaureate degree.

BS Marine Biology Student Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcome #1: Students should have the ability to demonstrate a fundamental level of academic competence in core biological content and issue knowledge. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher on a U.S. 4.0 scale to be considered for admission. Students must have completed the high school. English Proficiency: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - minimum score of 71 on the Internet-based exam. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - minimum score of 6.0 on the academic module. Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 54, Pearson PTE - minimum score 54.
